A bit of editing to the jaw line, nose and beard/stubble, among other things.
Forgot not to paint on white back-ground >.<
So as I am doing all that I can to leave my comfort zone now when painting/sketching I have finally managed to drag myself into doing some Realism. This was one of the most daunting styles I have ever attempted for numerous reasons, so I am taking it slowly and asking for guidance along the way (via conceptart.org etc).

You've done well here mate. Especially with the tones. It always takes that little bit of on persistence to push it to the final stage. I'm in the same boat. Realism is certainly uncomfortable, but once you get the hang of it it opens up so many avenues for using your imagination. Keep up the good work Petrovsky!
